Preventing Ocean Pollution& Empowering Communities with Innovative Circular Solutions

The plastic pollution crisis is real, but it can be solved.

SEArcular – as its name implies – is on a mission to halt SEA pollution and promote circularity.

Monthly, SEArcular recovers and recycles hundreds of tons of Code #7 plastics—often overlooked due to their complexity—alongside PET, PP, PS, PE, and various other plastics from ocean-bound plastics areas.

This proactive approach ensures that these substantial volumes of plastic waste are diverted from the ocean, environment, avoiding landfill accumulation, open burning, or neglect in dumpsites.

Looking ahead, we plan to achieve complete circularity through the introduction of food-grade recycling technology for PET.

This will allow us to implement a bottle-to-bottle recycling system, offering brands the opportunity to continually reuse our recycled PET for new bottles, thus closing the loop and ensuring the sustainability of our recycling process.

Innovative Approach

CATCHING IT BEFORE IT ENTERS SEA

When a bottle hits the water, it's too late. Sun and salt water degrade the plastic within days, making it largely unusable for recycling. 80% of plastic in the ocean is estimated to come from land-based sources, so SEArcular catch it before it enters our ocean.

CIRCULAR RECYCLING

Circular recycling continuously repurposes materials at their original quality, minimising waste and resource depletion for sustainable, endless reuse.

BOTTLE TO BOTTLE

SEArcular is committed to achieving the highest level of circularity with its upcoming bottle-to-bottle recycling process, substantially cutting down on fossil fuel use.
